- Clear your cookies if you are getting quoted higher rates on travel sites, such as Expedia or Travelocity, that you have visited before. Sometimes they are tracking your visits and may not be giving you the best offers.
- Go to Mapquest prior to traveling and get directions to the places you want to visit from your hotel. This makes it very fast to hit the ground running. While any good hotel has a concierge that can provide you with directions, if you are the independent type or someone who likes everything mapped out in advance this is a great suggestion.
