Jet Lag or Travel Fatigue - Tips to overcome

While I have yet to do any trans Atlantic or Pacific travel, I for one just have trouble moving across two time zones. My first night at a hotel is usually next to sleepless, especially if Jennifer isn't with me. So I look forward to any ideas for getting over travel fatigue.

Joel Widzer over at MSNBC Travel says that,
"To overcome travel fatigue, you need to call on the body’s unique powers of physiology, psychology, sleep and stress reduction. By properly managing these functions, you can attain optimal performance while traveling."

    Great tips!

    When planning your trip, check your employee benefits package to see if travel insurance is included; most group insurance does have a travel insurance component. If you do have travel coverage but it isn't enough, supplemental top-up travel insurance is very affordable; definitely much cheaper than buying a whole new travel insurance policy.
