- Take a bottle to feed the child during take off and landing. This helps to calm them and also helps with the change in pressure that can make their ears uncomfortable.
- Make sure that you pack a carry on with baby essentials including an extra change of clothes, their favorite blanket and a favorite toy. You never know when your luggage might get lost and those familiar items can be very helpful to calming a baby.

When traveling with kids - seriously consider a vacation rental over a hotel. Usually they have a washer and dryer, more space to spread out, more than 1 TV so you're not subjected to Wiggles or SpongeBob reruns. Overall a great idea and you save money on groceries!
