You've got to check out this terrific air fare sale that Travelocity is promoting via Travelzoo. San Diego is a world class destination that makes a wonderful get away this time of year, especially for those of you in cold climates. You can get from Chicago to San Diego for $200 roundtrip. Wow!!!

- Old Town Courtyard - this is a great hotel with easy access on and off the I-5 freeway and a block from Old Town San Diego - a must see while you are here.
- Old Town Holiday Inn Express - just a block from the Courtyard and another great place to stay.
- Mission Valley Stadium Holiday Inn - this location is right next to Qualcomm Stadium, the home of the San Diego Chargers football team and location to many concerts and events in the area. It is also close to shopping.
- Del Mar Hilton - This hotel has recently undergone a renovation and they have added concierge rooms. Additionally, they have a great bar that has an outdoor and an indoor element. Located about a mile from Del Mar beach. This is the place to stay in Del Mar.
